At your first visit, we review your dental and medical history and perform a comprehensive examination. The exam includes cavity detection, periodontal (gum) assessment, oral cancer screening, and evaluation of bite and joint problems. We also discuss your cosmetic desires and concerns. X-rays and intraoral pictures are taken as indicated.

Our dental team educates you about your oral health assisting you in making informed decisions regarding your treatment. If treatment needs are not complex, we discuss our findings and possible solution options for you at this visit. For more complex treatment recommendations, we may schedule a consultation with the doctor.
